I have used fine lines throughout my drawing and then applied watercolors to the pen & inks. The hands and cuffs are well detailed because they show the fingers as well as the fingernails with accuracy. If you look closely, you can see hairs on his ass! The cuffs are silver, so I have let the white tone of the paper cast the silver tone.
