Shirtless Cowboy with Straps Delineated
This gay rancher drawing is a pleasure to write about because he is beautiful. Everything about him smacks of ruggedness and strength. He has a very secure and virile deportment ae he takes his manly stride. I would not get in his way because you may be run over. This gay rancher has beautifully proportioned elements to his fine, manly figure, because he works out. I majored in figure drawing and painting at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, so I know the human figure with expertise. Men that work out on a regular basis will have it show on their figure because muscles reflect movement. This gay herdsman does his workout very well because his body shows it.
To draw his figure, I have used contour lines because they are linear. In looking at this drawing you can see that there are dark contour lines all around the perimeter of his body. From his neck to his shoulders this gay herdsman has his figure complete delineated. The purpose of contour lines is to outline a figure. In looking at his pecs you can see that I have a contour line running just under his nipple to his arm pits because it shows the pecs. The waist and belt are also done with contour lines because they are separating the clothing from his body. To get a fuller image of the body I need to use hatch lines because they offer shade and shadows.
Gay Rancher Hatched
This gay rancher has a lot of hatched lines on him because he has a lot of shading on his figure. His head is all covered with vertical hatch lines from the rim of his hat. His left side is shaded by his arm holding the straps. The zipper and pants at his crotch are shaded with vertical hatch lines as well. All in all this gay rancher is well done in both hatched, and contour lines.
